The embroidery is multicolour thread work, not a print, with mirror and sequin detail worked into the panel and along the skirt. The base is a silk blend, lined in a soft breathable cotton so the weight sits away from the coat. The skirt is cut full enough to move without catching the back legs, which is what makes it wearable for a whole evening rather than one photograph.
