One measurement, not three. Pick your breed and your dog's life stage on this page and the size number is printed beside it. If you would rather measure, run a tape along the back from the neck to the hip. That number in inches is the size. Between two sizes, take the larger one.
Every piece is lined with a soft breathable fabric, and the pattern is cut for your breed rather than a generic small, medium or large. That matters most at a function, where they will be wearing it for hours rather than for one photograph.
Both, and the fabric tells you which. Cotton and monosilk pieces are cut light for daytime functions. Brocade and heavy thread work is built for the wedding and the reception. Every product page names the construction rather than calling everything premium.
